Hello, I am Ryan Walter Blair and welcome to my website! I give all films that I review a fair analysis, whether good it's good or bad. While I may see some films with a previous personal bias, I give everything a fair rating and analyze all films with the same standards. As aggravating as they are, the nominations are announced. Some choices are obvious, but there are some seriously annoying snubs this year, such as Michael Fassbender for Shame. Anyway, check out the nominees, along with my opinion of what is most worthy to win and what is left out. Enjoy!
Movie List 2011
For anyone who has followed this site for the past couple years, the Movie List is nothing new. For newcomers, this is an expansion of the typical Top Ten list. Instead of only ten, I ranked all 230 films that I have seen this year from worst to best. I realize that some people aren't interested in the complete list and for those of who are only interested in what I considered the best of the year, here's the Top Ten. Enjoy the list!
List Corrections 2011
Since I am not on many press lists, I am usually unable to view films prior to their release dates. Because of this, the Movie List is always lacking a few indies that aren't released in Denver until January and February. Anyway, check out where those films would have been and enjoy!
